Celebration of Life
Nancy's Story:
Nancy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in June of 2001. She managed her MS for a very long time with some ups and downs over the years. She always had a smile on her face and was more concerned about the people around her than worrying about herself. Most people would never know Nancy was battling with MS. In September of 2024 Nancy's health started to decline. Over the next 18 months Nancy was in and out of hospitals and rehab facilities. The doctors could not determine what was going on with her health. In February of 2025 Nancy was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). There were only 33 documented cases reported in the US in 2024 with People having both been diagnosed with MS and ALS. This is an extremely rare condition. Unfortunately there is no cure for ALS. The life expectancy is usually only 12-18 months. Nancy remains in high spirits and continues to make people laugh and smile. Nancy decided that she wanted to have a Celebration of Life while she was still able to enjoy her family and friends. Please join us on October 4th, and RSVP. Please feel free to leave a Memory and Regards in the section of this page, and also upload images and memories of Nancy to this page as well.

Join us to celebrate a remarkable woman on October 4, 2025.

Dear Family and Friends
I don't even know where to begin- my heart is overflowing with Gratitude. Having each of you come together some of you from other states to celebrate my life was one of the most touching experiences I've ever had. Seeing your faces, hearing your laughter and feeling your love reminded me of how truly blessed I am to have each of you in my life.
Thank you for taking the time to be there, to share stories, hugs and memories that mean more to me than words could ever express. Every smile, every kind word, and every thoughtful gesture filled my heart with joy and reminded me of the beautiful connections that make life so special.
This gathering wasn't just a celebration of my life-it was a celebration of our shared moments, our laughter, our history and the love that binds us all together. I will hold that day close to my heart forever.
Please know how deeply grateful I am for each of you. Your love gives me strength, comfort and endless joy.
With all my love and appreciation.
Nancy❤️❤️❤️

Dear Nancy, we had a lot of fun during our Shores Market days! Remember the Thursday night PWB’s! ( Post Work Beers!) We worked hard, but we also had fun! Growing up with your Family was awesome too! Oh the memories!! One I do remember is in sophomore year of high school in the Annex there were all square papers taped to everyone’s locker that said Nancy Centracchio loves John DelPadre !! lol lol
When my husband and I attended one of the class reunions Nancy and “Mr. Van” fondly recalled the good times when she was a student there. She was at the welcoming table and later joined us at our table for some reflections of those years that had passed, but seemed like yesterday. “Mrs. Van”
A wonderful woman full of vim and vigor. Every time we met she always had a smile on her face. A tremendous advocate for Women’s Medical Center. She will be missed. She was a great friend. C. Moore. Retired DUSM
